App Terms
The Snarky Leaf app, terms of use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
The Snarky Leaf app is made by The Snarky Leaf, a small business in Ontario, Canada. By using the app you agree to these terms. They're short, promise.
Who can play
Anyone 13 or older. Kids under 13 can play once a parent or guardian has set them up at thesnarkyleaf.com/pages/parents. A parent who sets up a child is responsible for that child's use of the app.
Be kind
Pick a friendly name. Don't use the app to bully, scare, cheat or bother anyone, and don't try to get personal details from other players, especially kids. You can block or report anyone from their profile. The Snarky Leaf can remove names, take away items or close accounts that break these rules, without warning.
Coins, flowers and items
Coins, cans, flowers and everything you earn or buy in the app are part of the game. They have no real money value, can't be sold or swapped for money, and how they work may change as the game grows. The app is free, and there's nothing to buy with real money inside it. The shop link opens thesnarkyleaf.com, which has its own terms.
Your account
Keep access to your email or sign-in safe. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Accounts that have been inactive for a long time, or that break these terms, may be closed.
The drawings
The art, characters, words and name of The Snarky Leaf belong to The Snarky Leaf. You're welcome to share screenshots and videos of your own game. Please don't copy the art or use it to sell things.
Out walking
The map is for fun. Watch where you're going, stay off roads and private property, and never walk somewhere unsafe to reach a flower. Kids should play the map with a grown-up nearby.
The app as it is
A lot of care goes into keeping the app running and your Leaf safe, but it's provided as is. Things can break, saves can occasionally be lost, and features can change or end. To the extent the law allows, The Snarky Leaf isn't responsible for losses from using the app, and its total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid to use it, which is nothing.
Privacy
What the app keeps and why is in the app privacy policy.
Changes and the law
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too, and big changes are announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
